A single car crash southbound on the Garden State Parkway in Clark left one person critically injured early this morning.
The crash that occurred around 2:30 a.m. near the construction zone of the highway, closed all lanes at exit 135, diverting traffic onto local streets. Traffic was backed up for about 3 miles while police conducted the accident investigation.
The victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital where the victim's injuries appeared life threatening.
