Police in Newark are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred overnight in the city.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 800 block of 20th Street shortly before midnight. Police arrived to find one person seriously injured from multiple gunshot wounds.
A second victim was reportedly transported by private vehicle to University Hospital where he is reported to be in an unknown condition. Police are now looking for the driver a blue 2-door compact vehicle that left the scene after dropping the victim off at the hospital.
Several hours later, the third victim arrived at the police precinct on Franklin Street suffering a graze wound.
An investigation is underway by Newark Police and the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
