EMS rushed a female victim to University Hospital in Newark wit serious injuries after being shot early this morning in Irvington.
Gunfire rang out shortly before 4 a.m. in the area of Wilson Place and Bross Place scrambling several police units to the scene where they found the victim shot twice to the chest.
Police setup a crime scene in the area where a search for a possible suspect and other evidence was conducted.
The outcome of the woman's injuries or her identity has not been release at this time
