Vehicle Crashes Into Business, Occupants Steal ATM Machine in Newark

Someone forgot to tell a set of thieves who slammed a vehicle into a "chicken shack" overnight that not only did the governor issue a travel ban throughout the state but city leaders ordered all vehicles off the roads with a $300 fine for anyone that violated the order.

Not even the blowing snow and crippling storm that  barreled down on northern NJ got in the way of this heist. 

Obviously, the suspects were not phased by the warning after crashing the vehicle into Jersey Fried Chicken located in the 200 block of Elizabeth Ave. the stealing the ATM machine in the early morning hours according to management at the store. 

A manager of the store said that he closed the store at around 2:30 a.m. So he believes  that the incident happened at around 4:30 or 5. 

There was no description of suspects or vehicle available. 

Police are investigating the incident.
