UPDATE: Man Injured in Shooting Incident at Roxbury Motel

An unidentified man was shot during an incident that took place at the Roxbury Motel, prompting a swift response from law enforcement agencies.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll provided details of the incident that occurred on October 18, around 8:54 p.m.

Authorities were alerted to the situation when they received a report of a shooting at the Roxbury Motel, situated along Route 46 in Roxbury.

Roxbury Police officers swiftly responded to the scene, where they discovered a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

Acting swiftly, the officers administered lifesaving medical aid to the injured man.

The victim, although seriously injured, was fortunate to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

He was quickly transported to a nearby medical center for further treatment. Meanwhile, an initial investigation determined that the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting had fled the scene immediately after the incident.

As of now, the investigation into this shooting remains active and ongoing.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are diligently working together on this case, including the Roxbury Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office – Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
