Firefighters in Union knocked down a fast-moving fire that ignited inside a car in the township early Monday morning.
Crews were called to the 800 block of Sheridan Street just before 1:45 a.m. where they arrived and observed fire engulfing a vehicle at that location.
Firefighters were able to swiftly knock the blaze down then perform a search for trapped and injured occupants that returned negative.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by Union Fire officials.
