Police are investigating a shooting that left two people seriously injured overnight in Elizabeth.
Gunfire rang out in the 400 block of Fulton Street shortly before 11 p.m. sending dozens of police and EMS to the scene where they found two people struck by gunfire.
Authorities found the first victim injured by gunfire near 461 Fulton Street immediately upon their arrival. A thorough search of the area had police locating a second victim in the area of 5th Street and East Jersey Street.
EMS rushed both victims to University Hospital in Newark where their conditions are reported to be serious.
There shooter/s remained at-large.
The shootings are under investigation by The Elizabeth Police Department.
