Two Pedestrians Airlifted After Being Struck by Car in Clark

The two pedestrians that were flown to Newark hospital,last night are said to be in stable condition, according to police.

Police responded to Gibson Boulevard around 6 p.m. last night after two pedestrians, a 59-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman, were struck by a car, Chief Alan Scherb said.    Both victims were airlifted from Arthur L. Johnson High School to University Hospital in Newark, police said

Police could not provide any information on the identity of either victim until family is contacted, Scherb added.

The incident remains under investigation.
