Trenton Man Charged with Murder

A 21-year-old Trenton man, already in jail on drug charges, has now been charged with the killing of a 46-year-old city man, authorities said today.

Authorities responded to the 200 block of East Hanover Street on March 10 for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police found 46-year-old Steven "Strength" Brannon and Marvin Williams suffering from gunshot wounds.

Brannon and Williams were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton where Brannon was pronounced dead.

Williams who was shot in the hip and groin area was treated and released, according to police.

Shooter was later identified as 21-year-old William "Tank" Snead, who was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses, authorities said.

His bail is set at $1 million, prosecutors said.
