Police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured in the city overnight.
A man around the age of 20-years-old was self-transported to Jersey City Medical Center shortly before 1 a.m suffering a gunshot wound to the face.
Police setup a crime scene in the area of Wegman Parkway and Ocean Ave. where they searched for evidence and a possible suspect.
The victim's injuries were reported to be non-life threatening.
Jersey City Police are conducting the investigation.
