An early morning shooting in Jersey City sent two people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Two people were transported by private vehicle to Jersey City Medical Center after multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the 200 block of Halladay Street shortly before 2 a.m. sending a large police response to the scene where they found evidence of a shooting, but no victim.
A man suffering a gunshot wound to the foot and a woman struck in the back by gunfire arrived to the hospital a short time later.
A motive for the shooting has yet to be determined by police.
