Emergency responders and rescue crews provided CPR on a person who police believe was struck by a vehicle in Washington Warren County Friday night.
Officials said it appeared the male victim was crossing the street in the 100 block of NJ-31 around 11:10 p.m. when a vehicle struck him at that location.
EMS rushed the man to an area hospital suffering life-threatening injuries.
Police found the badly injured victim lying on the side of the road after officials said officers received reports of a disabled person.
The incident is under investigation.
