East Orange Police are investigating an armed robbery at gunpoint that occurred early this morning in the city.
The incident happened shortly after 11 p.m. just outside the "chicken shack" on Park Ave. and Park Street where the suspect pointed a weapon at the victim taking personal possessions before fleeing the scene.
The suspect was only described as a black male wearing dark clothing.
There were no reported injuries.
East Orange Police are investigating.
