Roselle Police Arrest More Than 10 at Central Park Bar in March

Several arrest at local bar kept authorities occupied in the month of March

On March 8,  officers responded to multiple disturbance calls at Central Park Bar between the hours of 1:02 am and 3:18 am.  As a result, seven people were arrested for various offenses to include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer. 

These incidents occurred inside of Central Park Bar as well as in front of Central Park Bar and in the TD Bank Parking Lot, which is utilized by Central Park Bar patrons. 

Mutual aid was required and Linden and Union County Police responded to assist.    During this incident, it was found that two of the people arrested were under the legal drinking age of 21.   The seven (7) people arrested are as follows:    ​Grzegorz Osmolski, 32, of Ocean,  ​   ​Sarah Perez, 20, of Staten Island,  ​Roberto Rivera, 24, of Staten Island, NY​​ ​Avery Rivera, 20, of Staten Island, NY​​ ​John P. Bohl, 24, of Staten Island, NY​​ ​Devan D. Holmes, 24, of Kingsburg, NJ​​ ​Damian Miller, 24, of Kingsburg, NJ    On March 14, at 1:03 am, officers responded to Central Park Bar on a report of a disturbance. 

As a result of the disturbance, two men were arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.    ​Diego A. Plaza, Elizabeth, NJ ​Luis Giraldo, West Orange, NJ    On March 14, at 2:56 am, Jason Hedgepeth, of Elizabeth, was arrested for DWI in front of Central Park Bar. 

After exiting Central Park Bar, Hedgepeth entered his 1997 Honda Civic and struck a police vehicle parked in front of Central Park Bar. 

Hedgepeth was charged with careless driving, driving while suspended, driving with no insurance, DWI and refusal to submit to breath test.   On March 29, at 2:48 am, officers responded to Central Park Bar on a report of a disturbance. 

Upon arrival, Steven Cepeda, of Elizabeth, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.​   All incidents are being investigated by the Roselle Police Department
