Pick Six Lottery Ticket Worth About $2 Million Dollars Sold in Union County

TRENTON, N.J. (Aug. 26, 2014) – For two lucky Pick-6 ticket holders summer 2014 will conjure up more than fond memories of the sun and surf. It will be the summer that they became millionaires playing the Pick-6 Lotto in New Jersey on Monday, Aug. 25. 

The annuity value of the jackpot was $4,400,000. The winning tickets were purchased as cash and after the split each ticket is worth $1,586,200 for a total cash value of $3,172,400. 

The winning tickets were sold in Mercer and Union Counties.  The Mercer County winning ticket was sold at Ticket Sales, LLC, 336 Route 33, Trenton.

The Union County winning ticket was sold at Country Farms, 378 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights. Each retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky tickets. 

The winning numbers from the Monday, August 25 drawing were: 02, 10, 21, 26, 32 and 33.

Executive Director Carole Hedinger said, “I look forward to meeting these two new Pick-6 millionaires and learning about their dreams that will now become realities from the win. Winning the lottery is all about changing lives and making anything possible.” 

Additionally, Hedinger reported that 9 players won $3,208 in cash prizes in the drawing for correctly picking five numbers. Another 593 players won cash prizes of $53 each for correctly matching four numbers and 10,695 players won $3.00 each for correctly matching three numbers. 

The Pick-6 jackpot rolled 17 times before being hit on Monday, Aug. 25. During the roll period from June 26 to Aug. 25, Pick-6 ticket sales contributed nearly $4 million in support of education, institutions and programs within the State. In addition, retailers earned more than $475,000 in commissions.
