Newark

Summer ProgramBy: Richard L. Smith

Newark and the North Jersey region are in for a treat as mild weather descends, ushering in conditions that feel distinctly like fall.

With partly sunny skies and temperatures expected to reach a high near 75 degrees, it's a perfect day for outdoor activities and, most notably, for NJ high school football enthusiasts.

According to The National Weather Service,  northwest wind will blow at 10 to 14 mph, bringing a crispness to the air that signals the changing of seasons.

On Saturday morning, high school students, parents, and fans can look forward to a comfortable day with mostly clear skies and temperatures dipping to a low of around 55 degrees.

The humidity levels are expected to remain at a comfortable 60%, making this an ideal setting for cheering on local teams.
