Newark and North Jersey residents are waking up to a chilly start this morning, with temperatures below freezing.TigerDespite the cold, a beautiful day is on the horizon, marked by abundant sunshine and breezy conditions.

Throughout the day, the sun will reign supreme, but don't let that fool you – it's still brisk out there.

Temperatures are expected to climb to the mid-40s, but the wind chill will make it feel cooler, ranging between 25 and 35 degrees early in the day.

A gentle north wind blowing at 6 to 9 mph will add to the day's crisp feel.

As night falls, the skies will remain mostly clear, with the temperature dropping to around 27 degrees.

The wind chill will continue to play its part, bringing values down to between 20 and 25 degrees.

So, while you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful day in New Jersey, make sure to bundle up to keep warm in these brisk, early spring conditions!
