Authorities in Morris County announced that Christina Susco, 38, of Budd Lake, has been charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Aggravated Assault.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said it is alleged that on March 25, Susco, at the time a teacher at Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center, had explicit contact with a 16-month-old female child.

Officials stated the incident remains under investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.

The name and identity of the victim will not be released, according to officials.

As a result of the investigation, officials said, Susco has been charged with second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and third-degree Aggravated Assault.

Authorities say that Susco’s arrest photograph will not be released in accordance with state law.

Pursuant to the Criminal Justice Reform Act, Susco has been released from the Morris County Correctional Facility on a series of non-monetary bail conditions pending future court proceedings, including restraint from Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center, officials say.
