Lakewood Township New Jersey

A verbal altercation inside a Lakewood bakery led to the stabbing of an 19-year-old Jackson man.

Police responded to El Oxaqueno Bakery around 11:30 p.m. Sunday and found that a 19-year-old Jackson man had been stabbed.

Investigation revealed that after a verbal altercation inside the bakery, the victim and another man walked out of the business but returned minutes later suffering from a stab wound to his stomach.

The victim was transported to area hospital for the non-life threatening injury, police said.
