An overnight shooting that left a man with life threatening injuries have authorities investigating.
Police responded to several calls of shots fired that rang out in the 60's block of Vorhees Street shortly before 1 a.m. Units arrived to find the male victim shot multiple times to the head.
EMS rushed the man to the hospital in critical condition.
Residents in the area said they were awaken by as many as six loud popping noises then saw the area surrounded by police a short time later.
A crime scene was set up where police searched for evidence.
