A 15-year-old Jersey City teen in a taxi cab was injured after shots rang out last night, according to a police report.
Shortly before midnight a taxi cab occupied by a teen, 15, and his 25-year-old brother when a group of people was seen running as shots were fired.
Right after the fired shots, the 25-year-old passenger noticed his brother had been struck.
The 15-year-old teen was transported to Jersey City Medical Center - Barnabas Health by the taxi cab.
The victim's injuries are reported as non-life threatening.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
The shooting remains under investigation.
