Authorities in Paterson are investigating reports of shots fired that injured a man in Paterson overnight.
Police responded to shots fired reports that occurred in the area of East 16th Street and 12th Ave. at around 3 a.m. this morning. Upon arrival to the scene police found a male victim shot in the leg.
The victim was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.
There were not arrest reported. Authorities have not ruled out a self inflicted injury.
