A male victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound who walked into St. Josephs Hospital after reportedly being transported by private vehicle, has Paterson Police investigating.
The victim arrived at the hospital around 2:30 a.m. suffering gun shot wounds to the legs. The man reported being shot near Checkers located at Straight Street and Market Street. Authorities also searched the area of Belmont Ave. and North 8th Street where an earlier shot spotter activation was reportedly detected.
Two black males wearing a ski-mask reportedly fled in a light colored vehicle.
It is not immediately clear which scene the victim was injured.
