As of 4:30 a.m., the region is already experiencing milder conditions compared to recent days, with the mercury hovering at a comfortable 65 degrees.

According to data from the National Weather Service, the day ahead promises a mix of clouds and sunshine, ultimately giving way to a sunny afternoon.

Forecasters say high temperatures are expected to reach an impressive 81 degrees. While the morning will see a calm wind, a gentle westward breeze of around six mph is anticipated as the day progresses.

Friday night is set to be mostly clear, offering a pleasant and mild evening.

The nighttime low is forecasted to dip to 61 degrees, with a subtle southwest wind blowing at speeds of 3 to 6 mph.

Saturday will maintain this delightful trend, with temperatures nearing the 80-degree mark.

Fall is indeed in the air, but for now, residents of Newark and North Jersey can savor the unexpected warmth and enjoy these beautiful autumn days.
