Edison Firefighters rushed to battled a three-alarm fire Thursday night at the township’s DPW yard.
According to officials, the fire started sometime around 10 p.m. on New Durham Road.
Heavy fire was seen from the roof of 745 Durham Road upon the arrival of firefighters.
The building which is said to hold tires, vehicles and other equipment was destroyed.
Firefighters from Edison and Metuchen responded, according to officials.
No injuries were reported.
Fire remains under investigation. No word on what cause the fire.
