A ferocious four-alarm fire that ripped through a multi-family home at 286 Ridge Street in Newark's North Ward on the evening of May 29, 2015 had Senior Arts High School vocal major Erik Espinoza not only at a total lost for all of his belongings, but wondering how he would even afford to attend his senior class prom that was happening in a couple of weeks.
The RLS Metro Morning crew consisting of about six employees scheduled a meeting just before their 4 a.m. shift to help any high school senior that may have been affected by the fire.
School officials brought Erick to the staffs' attention.
The crew was able to collect enough money among themselves to fully assist Erik in things needed for his senior prom.
