Rescue crews from Orange Fire Department pulled the decomposed body of a black male from a lake in Orange this afternoon.
According to police, the body of the unidentified male was found floating in the lake at around 4:30 p.m.
Police have not confirmed if the person found is a Rutgers University student who left his East Orange home on March 30th and hasn't been seen since.
Police say Mr. Yasir Williams was last seen at 11:00 p.m., leaving a residence on Edgar Street in East Orange. **Family asked us to continue to post the image and information**.
He is described as a black male, 5'8", 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a yellow-hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and black sneakers.
NJ State Police has joined in on the search for Williams.
The State Regional Medical Examiners Officer will determine the cause of death.
