AdCarteret officials announced that on December 1, the Honorable Mayor Daniel J. Reiman will join with the Borough Council in hosting the town’s annual Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting at Carteret Park.

Festivities will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., with the annual tree lighting at 7 p.m., officials stated.

“Our Holiday Festival transforms Carteret Park into a winter wonderland, capturing the true spirit of the holidays for families and visitors with lavish festivities,” the Mayor said.

Pic Officials said festival highlights will include live holiday music along, photos with Santa, hot cocoa, cookies, hot pretzels, and horse & buggy rides.

Hanukkah will be celebrated from December 7 to 15, officials said.

In celebration, officials say, a menorah lighting will take place at 6 p.m. on December 7 with Rabbi Azriel Brown of the Carteret Hebrew Center.

Updates about the Holiday Festival and Menorah Lighting will be available at Carteret.net or by following @MyCarteret on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
