Emergency responders and rescue crews are on the scene recovering a body of an unidentified person in the Hudson River at this time.
According to preliminary reports, the body was found floating near the Newport Yacht Club & Marina just before 12:50 p.m
The identity and gender of the person has not been released at this time.
Police are investigating.
