Police in Newark are on the search for a red jeep with NJ license plates that was seen fleeting the area after the occupants of the vehicle committed an armed robbery at around 7 p.m. last night.
The suspect, (described as a black male wearing dark clothing) was armed with a gun during the time of the robbery when he struck in the area of Lyons Ave. and Clinton Place.
There were no reported injuries.
