Police in Newark are on the search for suspects occupying an out-of-state vehicle wanted for a shots-fired incident in the West Ward.
At approximately 11 a.m., an armed male opened fire in the vicinity of 15th Avenue and South 18th Street (near D&S Liquors/Check Cashing).
Police officers arrived at the location and found an unoccupied vehicle struck by bullets.
Authorities believe the suspects were inside a 2021 Porsche with NY license plates when they sped away from the scene.
Police are checking the area for victims, but as of now, no serious injuries have been reported.
