5 Skills A.I. Can't Replace In Your Marriedpreneur Business

New Jersey

By: O.L./Sway Buckley

There's a lot of talk today around A.I. (Artificial Intelligence).

And rightfully so. There are so many new A.I. tools being created and used across industries. As a result, there's a lot of talk about A.I. taking over jobs and even businesses. It's essential for marriedpreneurs to work as visionaries who are proactive and not reactive.

Case in point, it's our job to think about how the world will change with the use of A.I., capitalize on the automation it has to offer, and at the same time, be clear about the distinctions within your business (that A.I. could never replace).

MarriedpreneurLife.comWith that being said, we want to share a few ways that A.I. can't replace you or your business as marriedpreneurs. We'll start with a quick definition of each.

  1. Emotional Intelligence/Empathy: The capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. A.I. is 'artificial,' so it will not have the same level of self-awareness as we business leaders.
  2. Creative Thinking: The ability to come up with unique, original solutions. At work, creative thinkers brainstorm and test new ideas. A.I. only can work with the information that it is programmed with. That's the box, which can't go beyond that as marriedpreneurs can.
  3. Soft/Interpersonal Skills: Behavioral and interpersonal skills relate to how effectively people interact with others and handle situations. Interacting with kindness and appropriate pleasantries varies based on the relationship. Being able to react and address problems as they come isn't something that can be programmed to the level we naturally operate in the marketplace.
  4. Collaboration & Team Work: To work jointly with others or together, especially in an intellectual endeavor. Although working with others is connected to #3, working as a TEAM has unique challenges regarding a joint win. That requires a heightened awareness, negotiation, and the ability to support and shine simultaneously.
  5. Leadership Skills: Includes the ability to delegate, inspire and communicate effectively. Inspiring a team to attain a shared goal requires skill and influence. Influence comes with a level of trust and likability, and personality. Therefore as marriedpreneurs, this is another area to lean into to distinguish yourself in your industry and from A.I.
